Against the wild beauty of the Norwegian landscape, Hawk Christensen has built a life guided by horses, music, and the enduring spirit of the open road. One of Norway’s best-known horse trainers, he may be the closest thing the country has to a true cowboy. He is also an established touring country artist, performing across Norway and internationally.

A singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Hawk has had music at the heart of his life since childhood. He began playing guitar at the age of eight and made his first stage appearance at just twelve years old. He later became the regular guitarist for the outlaw country legend Wendel Adkins and has toured with former members of Waylon Jennings’ band.

In 2012, Hawk released the single and music video Love & Hate. This was followed in 2015 by two tributes to Waylon Jennings, Are You Ready for the Country and Waylon’s Guitar, both recorded with musicians from Jennings’ own former band. Between 2017 and 2019, Hawk worked closely with country artist Arly Karlsen and the television series Norwegian Rednecks, contributing music and appearing on the show on several occasions.

Hawk continues to combine his passions for horse training and country music, and regularly tours the country for lectures, lessons, and concerts.
